Delete some of your data

You can delete single items and keep your account. In the app:

A memory about someone: open the person, then History, then Remember, and tap the bin.
A memory about you: open My Account, then Memories about me, and tap the bin.
A conversation or recording: open My Account, then Capture context, and delete it. To remove only the audio, open it and delete the recording.
A follow-up: open it and choose Delete.
A card: open My Cards, open the card, and tap the bin.
A person: open them and tap the bin. They leave your list; what you remember about them stays until you delete those memories too.

Deleted items leave your account straight away. Some are kept in our database, where only we can reach them, until your account is deleted, so that an accidental delete can be undone.

What happens

Your account is hidden straight away. Your cards stop opening, and the people you have met can see that you have left.
Everything is kept for 30 days, so that you can change your mind. Sign in again within 30 days and your account comes back exactly as you left it.
After 30 days your account is permanently deleted: your cards, contacts, meetings, notes, saved memories, recordings, follow-ups and uploaded images, your connected-account access, and your sign-in.
We email you when you delete your account, and again the day before it is erased.

What other people keep

People you have connected with keep their own record of having met you: the name, email, company and role you shared with them. It stays in their account, without a link to your card.

Can't sign in?

Email product@ehllo.io from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. For how we handle your data, see our privacy policy.
